Sabarkantha

Sabarkantha district is one of the 33 administrative districts of the Indian state of Gujarat, situated in the northeastern part of the state. The district headquarters is in Himatnagar, and it is traversed by National Highway 48. Sabarkantha comprises a total of 1,389 villages, including Pedhmala and Takhatgadh Kampa. According to recent demographic projections, the district has an estimated population of around 2.5 million as of January 2025.
